Philanthropy Showdown

We have entered into an exciting philanthropy competition with seven other sororities. Ellie Crimson (a boutique on the strip) is hosting a competitions structured like a football schedule. Alumnae are more than welcome to help in the competition. A portion of the proceeds at the end of the contest will be donated to the winning sorority's philanthropy. All you have to do is show your letters when you purchase something from the store. Giftcard/certificate purchases count towards the total as well. So if you are in the market for cute clothes or accessories please come help us out. Just like the tide we want to have a perfect season!

Points:
$25 = 2 points, safety
$50 = 3 points, field goal
$100 = 7 points, touch down
$125 = 9 points, safety + touchdown
$150 = 10 points, field goal + touchdown
$200 = 14 points, two touchdowns
$225 = 16 points, safety + two touchdowns

BigHouse Foundation is an outreach center for foster parents/kids from Lee, County. BigHouse provides clothes, tutoring, counseling, dance classes, art lessons, and more for foster kids who have very few opportunities in life. BigHouse has applied for the Pepsi Refresh Project and will recieve $25k if they stay in the top ten. It's easy to vote. Just go to this website and click "Vote for this idea." Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation

Alice Harvey is involved with the Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation, which is based out of Birmingham, Alabama. It was created in honor of an inspiring young woman who, after a year and a half battle with ovarian cancer, passed away this past January at the age of 25.
